Every Christmas, we think about what the season will cost us.
But what did Christmas cost God?
For twenty-five days, The Cost of Christmas invites you to slow down and consider the staggering price—and immeasurable gift—at the heart of Advent.
Through Scripture, story, and prayer, Greg Dutcher explores four deeply personal questions:
What did Christmas cost God the Father?
What did Christmas cost the world?
What did Christmas cost Jesus?
And what does Christmas cost me?
These daily readings move beyond the familiar details of the season to recover their wonder: the Father who did not spare His Son, the King who exchanged riches for poverty, and the Savior who entered our broken world to bring us home.
Come to Christmas with open hands and an open heart. Look again at the child in the manger—and discover what His coming cost, what it accomplished, and why it changes everything.
