bringing the gospel
where it’s needed most.
for our community
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
Sometimes the church can be known more for what it’s against opposed to what it is for. We want to be a church that is FOR the people in OUR COMMUNITY.
We believe God has placed our church in Harford County to make a gospel impact by actively loving and serving our neighbors, especially those who are oppressed, marginalized, and under-resourced. As we engage people in compassion, generosity, and justice we honor God, reflect the heart of God, and display the love of Christ (Matthew 5:16).
Through our efforts and strategic partnerships with dozens of amazing non-profit organizations, churches, and agencies in our community, we seek to make the most of our resources and make the greatest impact in people’s lives for their ultimate good.
Take some time to learn about some of partners and let us know how you would like to get involved loving and serving our community in Jesus name!
meet our local partners:
The Forgotten Initiative
We partner, host, and support TFI and our local advocates so that together we may be a force for good in helping to support the foster care community and experience Jesus together. We want to encourage our area social workers while supporting and blessing the children that are in foster care within Harford County.

The Hope Center
The HOPE Center’s goal is to ensure that all people in our community and surrounding areas, who are in immediate need, are not food deprived. We’re grateful for the opportunity to come alongside the school in simple, practical ways –providing breakfast, praying for and encouraging teachers, and helping meet needs that bless both the staff and the students.
Harford County Hope for Homeless Alliance
Hope for the Homeless Alliance is on a mission to reduce homelessness by eliminating hopelessness within our community. CFC partners with local organizations to serve the homeless in our community on Saturdays during the cold months. Together, we want to multiply the community impact of like-minded faith-based organizations, government agencies, businesses, and individuals, creating a greater impact for our homeless neighbors.
Harford Family House
Harford Family House is the largest provider of shelter and support for families and individuals experiencing homelessness in Harford County. They have help more than 2,000 people in more than 700 families since 1989.
global missions:
“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age’.”
(Matthew 28:18-20)
At CFC, our mission is to help people experience a genuine and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Today, over 3 billion people on planet Earth have little or no access to the Good News of Jesus and no church to help them grow in their faith.
In light of that, we prioritize global endeavors that help create gospel access where there is none and work to see new local churches where none currently exist. We will not stop until the Scriptures are translated into every native tongue and the gospel is proclaimed among every people group of the world.

mission support team
Our Mission Support Team at CFC is a group of men and women passionate about helping every believer within our church fulfill the Great Commission. They play a critical role in helping our church know how to pray for, financially support, and care for each of our mission partners.
The Mission Support Team meets once a month to pray and discuss the best ways we, as a church, can support each of our mission partners. They also seek the Lord, consider new mission initiatives, and make recommendations to the church's leadership team.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you want more information or want to get involved with the Mission Support Team. We would love to answer any questions you may have.
