It is easy to make the Christmas story sound quaint. Peaceful manger scenes, Bing Crosby songs and piping hot chocolate have a way of taking the military feel out of the Christmas story. "Military feel?" you ask. That's right. This morning we will see that the first Christmas is about an invasion. The Son of God touches down in enemy-occupied territory and comes to do battle.
